Ward 10 Voter Guide
When and where to vote in Spadina–Fort York, what to bring, and who is on the ballot.
Election Day
Monday, October 26, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Your voting place is printed on your Voter Information Card and listed on MyVote.
Advance Voting
Tuesday, October 6 to Sunday, October 11, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. You vote in the ward where you live. Ward 10 has two advance voting places:
- Trinity Community Recreation Centre, 155 Crawford Street
- Canoe Landing Community Recreation Centre, 45 Fort York Boulevard
What to Bring
One piece of ID showing your name and your Toronto address, such as a driver’s licence, a utility bill or a lease. It doesn’t need a photo, and documents issued electronically can be shown on your phone. A passport and the Voter Information Card are not accepted as ID. Full list of accepted ID
Who Can Vote
Canadian citizens aged 18 or older who live in Toronto, or who (or whose spouse) own or rent property in Toronto, and who aren’t prohibited by law. Students can vote both where they live for school and in their home municipality.
Who is running in Ward 10?
Eight candidates are certified for City Council in Ward 10, Spadina–Fort York. The City of Toronto publishes the official list. Husain Neemuchwala (Husain Neem) is one of them, running on T.H.I.S., a plan built on four priorities: Transit, Housing, Infrastructure and Safety.
Am I in Ward 10?
Ward 10 runs from Dufferin Street east to the Distillery District, and from Dundas Street West (Queen Street West near Dufferin) south to the lake, including the Toronto Islands. It takes in Liberty Village, Niagara, Fort York, CityPlace, King West, the Entertainment District, the Financial District west of Bay, Chinatown, St. Lawrence, the Distillery District and Harbourfront. The eastern edge is uneven, so if you live near Bay or Yonge, check your address on MyVote.

Check the Voters’ List
Check, add or update your information on MyVote until Sunday, October 11 at 7 p.m. After that, you can still add your name at your voting place with ID.

Applications closed September 24. If you have a kit, it must reach Toronto Elections by Wednesday, October 14 at noon. Use the prepaid envelope, or any yellow drop box in the city from October 1.

Every advance voting place has a Voter Assist Terminal (audio, braille keypad, zoom). Curbside voting is available. Call 311 before voting day to move your ballot to a more accessible location.
